Booking

Travel expenses for Trial & Wedding day:
- Driving distance over 15 miles = 0.45p per mile
– There and back
*This will be calculated by Siena previous to the job and will be added accordingly to the price of the Trial/Wedding day if necessary - Congestion Charge – Traveling inside the congestion charge zone is payable by the client
*This will be calculated by Siena previous to the job and will be added accordingly to the price of the Trial/Wedding day if necessary - Dart Charge – Payable by the client.
*This will be calculated by Siena previous to the job and will be added accordingly to the price of the Trial/Wedding day if necessary - Parking – Any parking expenses are charged to the client
*This will be calculated by Siena previous to the job and will be added accordingly to the price of the Trial/Wedding day if necessary - If travel time is 3hrs or more and the Makeup start time is as early as 09:00, Siena may request you to book her accommodation the night before
Bridal Trial:
- The Trial can take place at your chosen location or at Siena’s home address
- ALL travel expenses will apply as above and paid for on the day of the Trial
- No deposit fee is needed for the Trial
- The packages include a Trial for the bride only. However, Trials for bridal party members can be added on at an extra cost depending on what they are having.
- Trials can be booked in for weekdays or weekends, anytime between 08:00- 19:00
(This can be arranged directly with Siena) - Depending on hair type, Siena advises her clients to wash their hair the day/evening before the Trial/Wedding
- It is up to the client to advise Siena on any known allergies prior to the Trial
* See in T’s & C’s below - If you cancel the Trial giving less than 24 hours’ notice you will incur a £30 surcharge.
In extreme circumstances, this may waver but it is at Siena’s discretion
Payment terms:
- Once the Trial is complete and you are happy to go ahead with the service, a 20% non-refundable deposit for yourself and the wedding party is required to secure your booking
- Paying the deposit is your agreement to Siena’s *Terms and Conditions for the Wedding day booking.
- The deposit will be deducted from the final Wedding day booking fee and can be paid by BACS or cash
Cancellation:
- Cancellation of the booking by the client with no less then four months prior to the wedding would result in not getting the deposit refunded.
- In the unlikely event of Siena cancelling a booking due to an emergency or act of God, you would receive a full refund of the deposit. If this were to ever happen, Siena would find you an alternative makeup artist whom she highly recommends. They will then receive a brief and any products required that they might not have in their kit.
- Siena is happy to make adjustments to the bridal party numbers. If any members cancel less than two weeks prior to the wedding date the client will incur a 20% surcharge of the cost of what was quoted for that person
Allergies:
- It is the client’s responsibility to make Siena aware of any known allergies, medical conditions or skin sensitivities they have prior to the trial and wedding day. This includes the bridal party.
- On the rare occasion that any of the bridal party has visible contagious skin infections, Siena may refuse treatment.
- Skin conditions should be reported by the client to Siena prior to application. If need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Siena recommends a consultation for this reason. Client(s) agree to release the beauty artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
Touch Up’s:
- Siena is more than happy to stick around for last minute touch ups for around 30 minutes once all the looks have been completed
- Siena is also happy to negotiate a rate to stay throughout the day for light touch ups
Liability:
- All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application
- DBS checked

Image Use:
Siena may request to photograph you at your consultation and wedding day. They will possibly be used for social media use and Bridal website. Please state if you would not like any photos taken/used for marketing.

Frequently Asked Questions
HOW LONG WILL THE TRIAL LAST?
The trial is approximately 1.5 hours for hair or makeup and up to 2.5 hours for both.
HOW LONG SHALL I ALLOW FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Siena will work this out with you at the trial, however, as a rough guide for approximate timings, we suggest 90mins for bridal hair and makeup and 1 hour per person for everyone else.
Makeup or Hair only will take approximately 30 – 40mins per person.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY HAIR AND MAKEUP ON THE DAY?
Siena requests that you and anyone in your party arrives with clean, makeup-free faces and freshly washed/dry hair (hair washed the night before is also fine depending on hair type).
Freshly washed, semi-dry hair if you are having a blowdry.
Please let Siena know if you or any members of the bridal party have long, thick hair/ hair extensions as this may change the allocated time slightly.
DO I PAY FOR THE ARTIST’S TRAVEL?
All the details are in the terms and conditions section.
DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
You are not required to pay a deposit for the trial.
However, if you are happy to go ahead with the Wedding day Makeup and Hair/Makeup or Hair, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH THE TRIAL AM I COMMITTED TO BOOK?
No, and you are just liable to pay for the trial and any travel charges incurred.
CAN I REDUCE THE PRICE OF THE PACKAGE IF I DON’T INCLUDE LASHES?
The lashes are a complimentary extra offer so would not be discounted if you prefer not to have them
CAN I ADD PEOPLE ON TO THE BRIDAL PARTY?
You may add on as many people as you like as long as you give Siena enough notice incase she needs to book an extra Artist.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
Siena uses a range of known other than luxary brands in her kit such as Chanel, Bobbi Brown, MAC and Tarte Cosmetics.
Siena will also be equipped with every shade for every skin tone.

I may take photographs for reference or continuity purposes whilst working with you. I may also use photographs of you on my websites and social media platforms. Consent for this will be gained through the ‘booking form’, which is signed to secure my services for your date.
There may be times, on my websites and social media platforms, where I am obliged to credit photographers and other suppliers. I do not accept any responsibility for, or liability in respect to the content of those sites; the owners of which do not have any connection either commercially or otherwise with my business.
Data retention
Your personal information is retained for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my privacy notice. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. For tax purposes the law requires keeping basic information about customers (including contact, identity, financial and transaction data) for six years after they stop being customer.
Keeping your date safe

I may use services from third parties such as freelance hair and makeup artists to provide your service. The freelance hair and makeup artists I use are hand picked and provide the same standard and level of service as myself. I also use the services of trusted companies, professional advisers and government bodies to run my business and process your data. These services include website hosting, accountancy, administration services, banking, insurance and legal help and advice.
Google analytics
bridalbysiena.com uses tracking software to monitor its visitors to better understand how they use it. This software is provided by Google analytics which uses cookies to track visitor usage.
